Ferrari 7DCL750 Faults: Preparing for an Inspection

Document the fault before removal

Useful diagnostic information includes the transmission identification, stored fault codes and the conditions under which the problem occurs. Describe whether the symptom appears cold, warm, during engagement or while driving. Record recent maintenance and any previous transmission work.

Separate observations from conclusions

A warning message, shifting complaint or leak is an observation. It does not establish which sensor, hydraulic unit or mechanical component needs replacement. Keep the original diagnostic report available rather than reducing it to a presumed failed part.

Understand Stage 1

GTE Engineering's 7DCL750 Stage 1 is teardown and inspection only. Replacement parts, electronics and additional repair work are quoted separately. SAP and CCP hydraulic-unit refurbishment is additional where required.

Agree on the next step

The inspection findings determine the proposed repair scope. Confirm the required shipment contents and paperwork before sending a transmission. The installing workshop remains responsible for application-specific installation, fluid and setup procedures.
